Not gone.

My radio career. I may end up as Air America's 3-6 pm host. I really have no sense as to the chances of that happening. If not, there may be other opportunities at AAR or at other liberal talk networks. Don't know that those opportunities would happen soon or months from now, but I love doing liberal talk radio and one way or another I'll make it back on air.

Go to Sam's blog and sign up for the email updates.
Sam is still around. There are going to be 2 more weeks of canned book shows.
His contract was up with AAR and they apparently are still in some sort of negotiations. I still hope (I know I can be disappointed here) that he's still in the running for 3-6 slot.
He and Marc Maron do an occasional webcast of Seder v. Maron on Sammy Cam, details at Sam's blog.
Blog updates are TWITTERED so you'll know almost the moment a new blog thread is opened. I am flutecake over there, by the way.

The neccesity of my watching SUnday bobble head shows. If I never see Tim Russert do a roundtable with his cocktail party freinds again until Myla has kids it'll be too soon. I can recite to you word for word what you'll hear on his show this weekend. It is the most predictable our of television short of the old emergency test pattern.
C'mon, the test patterns are far truer to the medium than Russert's waste of air time. They allow technicians to properly adjust the equipment so Russert can put everyone to sleep in proper broadcast spec.
