and in the White House,
something was stirring,
the veep was a louse.
he leaked all the secrets,
to reporters with care,
in hopes that the democrats
would tear out their hair.
when out on the great mall,
there arose such a clatter
Did Scotty Mclellan
Serve thier heads on a platter?
when what to my wondering
eyes did appear
the sight of the PNAC bastards,
shaking in fear.

When I go to sleep tonight, there will be visions of neo-cons in jumpsuits dancing in my head.

has some discussion on sealed indictments.
There is also some info about sealed indictments regarding Monroe County, NY, which gives a little background on what they are for.

This is different from any other CNN day?

Prosecutor Meets With Chief Judge Could Signal That Fitzgerald Is Seeking Extension BY JOSH GERSTEIN - Staff Reporter of the Sun October 26, 2005 URL: http://www.nysun.com/article/22112 WASHINGTON?The federal prosecutor investigating the alleged involvement of White House officials in the leak of a CIA operative?s identity spent most of the lunch hour today meeting with the chief judge of the federal district court in the nation?s capital, Judge Thomas Hogan. As reporters massed outside an elevator lobby leading to the grand jury rooms, the special prosecutor, Patrick Fitzgerald, apparently slipped out a back exit to conduct the noontime meeting with Judge Hogan. Mr. Fitzgerald declined to comment as he and a colleague emerged from the judge?s chambers just before 1 p.m. The prosecutor?s visit to the chief judge could signal that Mr. Fitzgerald wants to continue his investigation, either by extending the term of the current grand jury or begin presenting evidence to a new jury. The grand jury that has heard witnesses in the leak case was set to shut down on Friday. Under federal law, most grand juries are limited to two years. The present one appears to be reaching its legal time limit, but because of the secrecy surrounding the process it is difficult to know for certain. Prosecutors involved in the politically-sensitive probe met with grand jurors for about three hours this morning, before wrapping up business at the courthouse for the day. There were also other reasons to expect that the investigation, once believed to be concluding this week, may continue.
This could very well mean that Fitzgerald is looking for more....
I could wait for that.

It just hit me: someday Fitz is going to write a book. Oh LORD, what a book!!
You know what? I bet he doesn't. I wish he would, but I bet he doesn't. From what I've been hearing, he's a man on a mission, and writing books isn't the mission.

Patrick Fitzgerald's intermediaries denied that there was any significance to the establishment of a new website, minimalist as it is, for the Office of the Special Counsel which is investigating the "outing" of Valerie Plame Wilson's covert CIA responsibilities to the media. Fitzgerald's people said that the investigation coming to a close and the website going up was just coincidence. Well, news has just reached TWN that Patrick Fitzgerald is expanding not only into a new website -- but also into more office space. Fitzgerald's office is at 1400 New York Avenue, NW, 9th Floor in Washington. What I have learned is that the Office of the Special Counsel has signed a lease this week for expanded office space across the street at 1401 New York Avenue, NW. Another coincidence? More office space needed to shut down the operation? I think not. Fitzgerald's operation is expanding.

That's fine with me. I'm enjoying Patvent and am willing to wait patiently for Fitzmas. The longer we wait, the more prezzies we'll get.
